My Story

Growing up
Hi, I’m Tatiana Fallon I was born in 1987, the second oldest of six children, to a mother with Swedish heritage and a father of Mexican heritage. When I was five, I told my mom I was done going to school, and so began my homeschooling journey. Growing up in a multigenerational home, I was immersed in a culture of reading, learning, and thought-provoking discussions that shaped who I am today.

As someone who is dyslexic, I struggled to learn to read until I was 12. This challenge gave me a deep appreciation for perseverance and the transformative power of education.

At the age of 14, I began working as a lobbyist at the Utah State Capitol, a role I held until I started college. I even managed a political campaign at 20. I attended George Wythe University, a small liberal arts school, where I earned a degree in statesmanship. My journey also included a church mission in Latvia, where I learned to speak Russian. Interestingly, all my sisters have Russian names, chosen by my dad, even though we have no Russian heritage.

Family

I married Andrew Fallon, the love of my life, who has Irish roots (though his family has been in America longer than mine). Together, we have four wonderful children whom we homeschool. After living in Utah and Virginia, we now call Kentucky home. We spend many of our days exploring the wonderful wildlife that Kentucky has to offer and love calling it our home.

Current Projects

Being outdoors has always been a passion of mine, and it’s no surprise that my current projects reflect that love. I’m writing a children’s book series on botany and forests, aiming to rekindle the wonder of nature in young readers.

Percy Persimmons is an enchanting tale from the Grove Guardians Series, blending whimsy with adventure as it introduces readers to a magical world where trees and plants are alive. Narrated by Percy, a wise persimmon tree, the story follows two children, Franklin and Zoey, who are unexpectedly transported to a dimension brimming with living forests, quirky plant characters, and age-old mysteries. As the children navigate this vibrant yet perilous world, they learn about the importance of nature, courage, and teamwork. From bullies and magical portals to singing branches and botanical battles, Percy Persimmons captivates with its imaginative storytelling and heartfelt message about the delicate balance between humans and the natural world.

I’m also working on Suffocated, a book advocating for revolutionary changes in education.

Public speaking has been a part of my life for over two decades, from homeschool conventions to youth retreats.. Today, I also host a podcast that has reached over 10,000 downloads.

Life is an adventure, and I’m excited to keep exploring, learning, and sharing my journey with others. Thanks for stopping by!
